A Roman red ware pottery oil lamp. Decorated with an elephant
in the centre of the discus, within a perimeter of linear designs.
The handle is solid, and the lamp stands on a low ring base.
There is a maker’s design on the base.  Circa 400 A D,
Roman North Africa, probably Tunisia.
