Oil Lamp with Palm and lions

A Roman red ware pottery oil lamp. The discus is finely decorated with a
palm tree flanked by seated lions tree in the centre of the discus, within a perimeter of circles. The handle is solid, and the lamp stands on a low ring base.
Date: Circa 500 A D
Roman North Africa, probably Tunisia.
Length:12.5 cms
Condition: A repair to the handle and some accretions
