AN ETRUSCAN BUCCHERO WARE CARYATID CHALICE
The deep bowl supported by one strut in the form of a turretted female
(originally four) while standing on the rim of the foot, Around the bowl is
a parade of various Etruscan animals – a boar, a winged horse, a lion
and a depiction of Typhon and Echidna. c. 6th Century BC
